Through expressive abstract painting, Cresus transforms the invisible into form, where each canvas becomes a suspended fragment of the soul. The exhibition unfolds as a passage from chaos to light, offering a deeply introspective and universal experience. ⸻ Artistic Approach The work is rooted in a personal exploration of loss and transformation. Following the passing of his twin brother, the artist developed a gestural abstract language where grief evolves into light. Each painting emerges through mixed media techniques—layered materials, deep textures, and spontaneous gestures—creating a tension between absence and rebirth. ⸻ Exhibition Experience The exhibition is conceived as an immersive journey structured in three emotional stages: * Chaos – The Raw Gesture Intense compositions dominated by reds, blacks, and dense textures evoke turmoil and raw grief. * Barzakh – Contemplation Softer tones of blues, greens, and greys introduce stillness, memory, and inner breathing. * Sanctuary – Illumination Deep blue fields with luminous golden centers embody resilience and transcendence. ⸻ Sensory Dimension The experience extends beyond the visual: * Ambient neo-classical soundscapes create a suspended atmosphere * Subtle scents of wood and incense evoke spirituality and timelessness * Textures evolve from dense to smooth, mirroring the emotional transition ⸻ Participatory Installation Fragments of Memory invites visitors to contribute their own thoughts or memories on a collective wall.
