Lady Rose de Porcelaine – A painting inspired by a tropical flower whose origins are Asian but with a Caribbean twist like my own. During time spend on the amazing Caribbean island of Saint Lucia strolling the gardens of an old chocolate plantation I found this delicate magnificent flower in full bloom with its dense texture, fragile color palate and almost translucent edges.
